Hell no......still waiting on the clutch/fw pieces, and the remote bleeder....now slave #2. Luke is sending one out right away....he's good people.

My f'n exhaust manifold on my jeep has a abyss size crack in it (notorious for 4.0L manifolds) so now I have to fix that this weekend since I'll have to drive that bastard around while my V's down without a trans/clutch. So, ya double f'd for this weekend

    Funny you mention that.......

Guys that put a header on (just one...inline 6) still crack em due to all the moving when your wheeling/flexing. I got a cheap manifold off ebay, cuz they weld in flex pipe to compensate for the movement/stress the exhuast puts on the manifold.

I'd hate to spend the money on a header just for it to crack, and then have to do the whole sheboygan over again.

Those 4.0's don't put out any HP, they are only good for TQ at low rpms....good in mud Kinda sad, but the 4.0 in as an upgrade from the 258 carb'd version it used to have.

These guy emailed me back on the slave and said:
Price is $249.95 plus $16.50 for shipping.
so they just used the ls7 throw out bearing and the slave to make up the distance?

Luke will fix you up, no problem. If you're not in a hurry, everything'll be just fine. I might add that, had you gotten it at gmpartsdirect, I'd bet dollars to donuts that you'd be screwed royally. Those guys think everybody's out to screw them, so they try to do it to you before you get the chance to do it to them (even though you had no intention to).

    Thank goodness for Luke.
    rand,
so you have the stock clutch, uuc flywheel and ls7 slave?

Come on now...if you were a real man you would have 37x14.00 boggers like I did! Here is a photo of when I just had the 33x14.00 boggers...it was still fun! Stretching the rear axle back 7" on a custom lift and frame makes alll the difference!

Coils much easier to lift higher than leafs man. Plus, I'm not trying to wrap my axles if I go SOA. Funk dat.

I wish I had my 79 CJ5 still. That thing only had 31's, but with that short wheelbase could go over everything dudes with 38's were going over.
