Seriously though, you do know that the 90* tube needs to be 4" to 3.5" right? Just mentioning it cuz I know its easy to miss the little things when your stressed with mod heck.
    Good luck
Maaan Tony, way to make a guy feel good about the forum ! The only reason I said I was deep in mod hell was to get more people's attention! The fact that I can't drive my car to/from work for 2 days and have no other way to get there since it's summer at Purdue and almost no one is here doesn't help either! The 4" to 3.5" silicone 90" elbow shipped today and will be here tomorrow.

Lolly you sure? I was pretty sure that it was the filter as 1st culprit, and then the squeeze tube did make a difference. If the tube doesn't matter, why not just get a drop in filter and call it a day? people could avoid spending the 300+ on a volant or K&N. I could of swore the pinched part of the intake tube mattered.

Hell idk, that's what Brent (EPP tuner) told me. He said they did comparisons on the two on the dyno and didn't find a difference.

ok ok. I wasn't trying to give you a hard time. I just remember reading something else to the contrary. If that's what you heard and that's all you know that's fine. no worries.

well whoever said that the K&N tube was a 3.5"OD was incorrect (Tony) so the silicone elbow I bought didn't work with it. It DID however work with a 3"ID PVC pipe which is what I will be using tomorrow at the dyno and on the street until my aluminum pipe gets here. I will have results for everyone tomorrow afternoon!

WOW, that's 76mm. Sure would suck to get a nice 90mm TB & intake, and then put that thing on.
