Hey you'll need longer bolts not only for the TB but for the snout also. The flange is thicker on the LS2 snout and the factory bolts are a little short. I'm going to try and get the thing running again today so I was off to buy some bolts. I'll let you guys know what sizes you need.

New bolts needed are M6 1.0 X 40mm (might try and find a 45 if you have a thick gasket. I made my own and its pretty thin so the 40mm work for me)

The snout as I said earlier is also thicker so the new bolts for it are M8 1.25 X 25.

What did you use for the gasket? Thanks for bolt size.

Randy was saying that magnuson had 2 different ls2 snouts? A short and long one?

There is a long and a short one. You will need the short one. i dont know what the long one is used for. Here is a video and a picture. Yes the hose routing looks like crap. I already know that. The hoses have to be completely redone because now you are minus a vacuum port because the LS2 TB doesn't have one for the passengers side valve cover. I will clean it up but its like a bazzilion degrees out side and I just wanted to drive it down the road.

For the TB gasket I went to orielly's and bought some grey gasket material. Its pretty thin and come in a roll. Its only like 2 or 3 bucks. Laid the snout on it and outlined it with a sharpie inside and out. For the snout to blower I bought red locktight gel and spread a very thing layer over the snout surface after cleaning both the blower and the snout. Bolted it up and wiped off the little bit the squished out. Looks like the same thing magnason did when they built it.

I can't wait!!! I love the part when you drive towards the camera. It sounds sick. That's the bar magnuson sends with it, right? Will the BMR strut bar clear the blower? If not, I guess I have a bar up for grabs.

Yes that is the magnason bar. I never tried the stock bar but being that there is only and inch of clearance with this bar, I doubt the BMR will fit if it has close to the same contour the stock bar has.

I got the tb and snout in hand. The snout is off a silver kit. I'm thinking of taking it and having it polished, instead of waiting on a polished one. Looks kind of like paint. The polisher will just strip that and make it shine, right? Might hand him the tb too.

Can you do us a favor and snap a picture of the IAT sensor installed in the maggie you have? If you can see it through the passenger side rear intake port that would be very helpful to us.

Sure, I stole this picture of Randy's maggie. The IAT sensor is the black plastic plug that goes straight down into the intake manifold.

If you can see the bottom of it through the intake port closest to it, snap a picture to see if you can show what kind of clearance there is there.

The bottom end of the sensor looks like this:

    Much appreciated!

Freaking camera sucks. Does that help? I can take more, and try to get better ones.
