Ls6 has 33,000 miles and maggie has about 15,000 miles on it. How about $100 cash no checks, LOL. I was quoted at $14,000 for the 427 guys said he promises 600 at the motor. |

Maybe this will give you and idea.
Cleveland pick-a-part is trying to sell an '05 LS6 & transmission with 18k miles out of a V for $6250 on ls1tech and everyone is giving him shit because the price is way too high. http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/lsx-pa...trans-18k.html
I'd say the maggie & engine combo is more like $8k together.

thats awfully expensive IMO. Why not punch out a 408 for waaaay cheaper with some nasty heads and cam youll be cranking more than 600 at the motor.
but on a different note...Id consider buying the maggie? Did you purchase it new? |

You can build an LS3 stroker for less and still end up with a 427. I was going to do that but didn't. You have to go with a 4.125" or 4.250" stroke or something like that. I did a lot of reading up on the subject but I dont remember most of it. Now installed to boot may be worth the money just to save a little mod hell, but you WILL have some even if you dont even touch it!
