Yeah, a combination of rubber hangar placement and twisting the muffler connections. When I got my car back from gettng a new diff the dealer had one of my mufflers way up and the other way down. A quick loosening of the exhaust bolts, a little twist of the rear muffler section, and I was good to go.
I guess taking a little bit off the resonater end of the catted extension pipe is not needed. I need to take it for the tune. The check engine light came on today. I just need to have them turn the rear 02 sensors off and that will fix it right?
So with Luke making another group buy, I have to ask. Anyone have a step by step for this? I can not find one in the search. I feel i could do this myself with help but need the confidence of good instructions. If I spring for a set I have some questions.
anythng else I should do if I will be getting into the car this much while I am in there?
I hear much about "tuning" I have a JET tuner handheld that has a "stage1" 2 and 3. 2 and 3 are for Vs with headers. will this cover the tuning part or is that a farse? It states on the box that stage 3 will cause detonation and then goto stage 2.. Hmmmm?
sounds like coating is a good idea, I can wait to install.
under tame driving does it make the car louder inside / outside, or just when you open the throttle?
does it make the exhaust louder or higher pitched?
Does Luke install and tune at the dealer? If I need motor mounts that may be a prime time. may just be worth doing while that deep, as well as plugs - - jesus you tools were right about the MOD bug and hell - mental hell as well.
I don't believe Lindsay can install those. And I don't know about handhelds. I'd get a tune from Jesse(wait4me). I've been running with a full B&B exhaust, from manifolds to tips, sans cats. And my V has been actually sounding tame to me lately...
