I picked up an '07 V at the end of December and decided it'd be worthwhile to sign up. I'm the proud second owner of an immaculate black on black CTS-v. It had 17,000 miles on it when I picked it up, and I just turned 18k over the weekend.
Chances are pretty slim I'll ever do anything to do it short of drive the snot of out of it - although that is subject to change if I ever decide to hit a track day with it. My car budget is pretty focused on other projects, and the CTS was about as close as I could get to a practical daily driver, so I really don't think I'll want to do anything that will compromise it.
Anyway, Hi! |

We will all agree about one thing though..GET A SHIFTER a.s.a.p ( B&M )

You're going to need to mod it to make sure black is still the fastest color!
New shifter is a must. (I found other things that needed mods)
Oh BTW, there are losts of go fast goodies for the LS(2 or 6). Heads, Cams, super chargers, headers, intakes........ What a wonderful motor.
This is a dangerous place, you will get bit by the mod bug if you hang out here too much.

I just finished putting a T5 in my XR4Ti and topped it off with a Steeda Triax. A couple days in the CTS made me forget what a good shifter is like, but I drove the XR around tonight and, yeah, I think I will pretty much have to do something similar in the CTS. Guess I'll put that on my to-do list... | | Cadillac Discussion Tools | | |
