You would crush him on a road course. He will probably take you in a straight line with the drag radials and the fact that you can't launch your car for fear of exploding the diff, but who cares you drive a 4000 pound high performance LUXURY car. Before my lightweight flywheel and LS7 clutch, I ran a 12.9 @ 111 while launching easily at 1050 feet and 85°. I'd just tell him that you can basically bolt on the same mods he has and whoop his a$$. |

Thats really the only thing that is different in our mods, other than the sticky tires LOL. I have a full exhaust and an slp lid. I'm running it untuned right now, well the timing has been bumped up a few degrees but other than that all of the PE tables are untouched. The rest of the car is stock, and I don't have traction bars I have sub-frame connectors to help prevent dimples in the fenders. Just looking to get you out to hang out with all of us. LOL |

Since that pass, I've installed a lightweight flywheel, LS7 clutch and a ton more refining on the tune, it is a ton faster now. I have several different tunes, a haul-ass tune, fuel mileage tune, cold weather haul-ass tune and a road course tune.

trap speed is 109.8. | Don't be fooled by an automatic. If he has a tune, he's probably gotten rid of most of the torque management. I tune a '99 C5 and only removed about 10% and what a huge difference. After some tuning only, he's about 6-8 tenths faster than he was stock. |

You got me beat on sound by a long shot! LOL mine sounds raspy cause we have y-pipes. FTL LOL I wouldn't take your money I was just trying to get you riled up so you would come and hang out with everyone. I haven't had any torque management removed yet. I'm gonna wait till I get a tranny cooler. i don't wanna blow it up any faster than I have to. LOL I'll probably wait till I get a cam to get a full tune. |

A good transmission tuner will know this. |

I'm not going to be able to do anything till christmas now. I'm thinking either a small shot of juice or a nice stall. Not sure yet I'm kinda leaning towards the stall though. A Yank SS3600 will most likely be my pick, I've heard nothing but good things about them and you can't beat the gains. |

We usually have a nice size group when we go down there and we have alot of fun. You don't have to launch the crap out of it to run it. You could just roll of the line so you don't take the chance in messing up your rear. I think you would be hooked on it once you came out. LOL |

I cant afford to get hooked or break things, and I am a little obsessive compulsive!! I'd end up running the Mastercard up with superchargers and tires....ect..... |

LOL You should get that suspension upgrade that there is a thread on right now the KARS stage III kit. Sounds like a freakin awesome deal to remove all of your wheel hop issues. That would keep you from breaking your rear and you could launch it then. |

But it helps with Wheelhop!

I'm also pretty sure that I read they were done making the kits after this last batch and the price had jacked all the way up to about $800 after shipping. I could be wrong though. | | Cadillac Discussion Tools | | |
