Im looking for suggestions as to what exhaust set-up i should buy and install on 07 V and i could not think of a better group of individuals to ask. Has anyone experienced any problems with any specific company that i should steer clear of? I appreciate any input. |

The Corsa exhaust was installed on my car when I bought it, sounds great but I wish it was louder. I'm probably going to be adding an x-pipe in the near future. If I were to do it myself I would probably go with the B&B. |

The most popular are Magnaflow, Corsa and B&B. A few people have borla or Zumers. Most are $1100-$1300, but you can find a Magnaflow for about $600.
You wont get much power out of any of them. I went with whatever sounded good. I like the Magnaflow for the deep rumble. And it doesn't kill me on the highway. I like it quiet on long trips.
I know that mine (and some other brands) the tips don't line up just right. You have to play with them a while, but no big deal.
B&B has 3" pipes and most (all?) of the others have 2 1/2" pipes.
Check the FAQ and go on utube for some sound clips.

When I made my decision it was based on price, for $600 I was able to get a brand new Magnaflow setup and it sounds and looks great. I'm sure that a B*B or Zoomers would maybe sound a little bit better, but not $500+ better |

Another, cheaper alternative is what I'm in the process of doing. I'll be buying an x-pipe and replacing my mufflers with tips (straight pipe). Significantly cheaper alternative.

You will not be dissappointed with B*B.....Nice big pipes....bigger Tips....very shiny I think they sound great....A little drone at about 1800 rpm......Maybe you dont get this with an X-Pipe....Mine is a resonator. The drone is at about 50 mph in 6th gear....so not a problem at interstate speeds...and can always use 5th to get away from it.....

Nothing wrong with going the cheap route. Your really not getting anything other than sound from an exhaust on out cars. An X-pipe and a couple of mufflers installed might be 300 bucks. |

I didnt know which had more....just know there is SOME with the resonator...on B*B.....but nothing to worry about with a standard transmission |
