How much to buy that pipe? The MP kit didn't come with a pipe, it uses the stock one which is kinda ridged/bumpy/ugly. I'd buy that new pipe to get a nice clean straight one under the hood.

I just got the cost, it's $199.95. The car in that pic is mine. I took some more shots of it, but I don't know how to post them. If somebody wants me to email them the pics to host for me, then I would be happy to do so. I can also send the dyno sheet with it.

On Speed, Inc's web site they say they are working on a cold air box for the GTO so I suspect they'll be doing the same for the CTS-V.

Hmm, no rpm on the dyno graph. What's the delta in torque look like?

Re: Just put the V on the Dyno

I asked the guy after he did the second run why there was no torque reading, and he apologized and said that he forgot to put one of the hookups on the car. In his defense it was just before they were closing and they were rushing to get the car done. I know that it seems like a lot of horsepower for what it is, but I assure you that everything is legit. I watched them make the all of the pulls, and put the intake on, so I know that they didn't do anything else. The intake tube is a 4" smooth tube that's even larger at the bends. I will be taking the car back there soon to get more stuff done, and plan on getting it redynoed. What should it be putting down torque wise?

HP is onloy a mathematical transformation of torque... HP=TQ*RPM/5252.... so you can calculate back to torque quite easily. What gear was the car tested in? From there you can back out RPM from MPH.

The car was pulled in 4th gear. They pulled it almost to red line, but I don't know exactly.
