Might Be Able to put something together on our Local Meet... There will be 11 V's and 9 of them CTS-V's, most have aftermarket exhausts, so it would be a good camparo

Oh yeah...you guys will probably be able to pull that off better than us. All we have is Magnaflow and Corsa with stock manifolds and Magnaflow/Kooks and Corsa/Kooks.

I believe he is in the middle of a Head/Cam Swap... Dunno if he's gonna be up and running in time...

Here you guys go! And now the sound quality is good! All the B&B exhaust!!

Oh, and say hi to my pregnant (and apparently hungry) girlfriend at the end!
That's exactly the kind of sound I'm looking for!!

That's a VERY cool comparison! That makes me wish there were more V's by me! Headers/hi-flo cats make a huge difference! No catback system will sound the same on stock manifolds.

Thatta Boy!!!! (get the hi-flo cats, or none at all)

B&B seems to be a much deeper tone than the ones I've heard on here. Kooks/Magnaflow sound good and throaty but they are more midrangey and raspy. I guess it's a matter of taste.

P.S. You can't argue with 3" exhaust either

I've been wanting to add the long tubes and high flows for a while, but wasn't sure if it was going to give me the loudness I wanted. Your vid has me convinced though lol.

call me but i find the exact opposite to be true! the reason i chose the setup i did was for the deep note and lack of rasp. the b&b starts out nice and bassy, but quickly erupts into an earsplitting shriek...but definitely not as bad as tpis!

the unfortunate truth is that it's so damn hard on the internet to hear how the cars actually sound just from video clips. the differences in camera/microphone quality really make it difficult to get an accurate perception of the sounds coming out our pipes! i wish we could make the best of a difficult situation and just get every setup together and use the SAME camera w/ the SAME mic - in a perfect world, right?

What you really need is a DB meter at the same distance from each car and do a walk around and a drive by.

Maybe Lunarx can bring his and I can do video when we get together as a group.
