I should've said :the sound quality of my phone sucks.....the actual B&B sound is the $HIT! And I totally agree with CTSV_Rob, not too loud for me! The xpipe really sets it off!

I'm trying to convert the video we took this weekend from a dvd to an .mpg with a free converter off the internet so I can post the idle/revs/WOT.....Once this p.o.s. converter is done converting I will try an post the video. Does anybody use a certain free converter that is easy to use? One that I can EDIT?

    Shane,

Sounds great. Not as sweet as Kook's/Magnaflow but hell for 20hp I'd take the sound difference! (JFWY)

+20HP is pretty f'n sweet Ted lol.

You need to post some video of your exhaust! That we can all compare.

Heavy should post his no cat/xpipe configuration so we can see if there's much of a difference between hi flow cats vs. no cats too.

    Re: Headers

I will get a video tonight...to compare post-maggie to pre-maggie with my setup. I noticed yesterday when I was revving in the driveway for a fuel pressure test that it seems much louder than it's ever been.

    sounds mean, but...see bold above!

b&b isn't bad - the loudness doesn't bother me, but the overall sound just doesn't hold a candle to the kooks/magnaflow combo (imho, of course).

skull, repost your video's so the people can see what a real setup sounds like! i'll be sure to record mine and post it sometime soon as well.

I don't know, have you heard the B&B setup in person? Sounds sweet.

Here is mine but the video does not do it justice.

Why does this sound ... dare I say it ... softer than mine? It can't possibly be! Must be too much variation in audio from clip to clip, plus my speakers.

What we all need to do is line a bunch of Vs (either all LS6 or all LS2) with a bunch of different exhaust setups and have all the cars idling and video with decent audio while walking behind each car. Of course, we'd need to either have a good space between each one so they were sufficiently isolated or just have only one car at a time running and maybe stop the video after, say, ten seconds of idling and another ten seconds of revving.

    Who wants to do this?

Well we kinda did that. The first two are LS2 and the last two are LS6. There are enough of us in the Dallas area that we can do a thorough comparison. I will see if we can get that set up. I'm just not sure if we have anyone with BB headers. Everyone out here has Kooks.
