We've talked about it but cost is unknown. Tony has the last, inexpensive way currently. Prices will change in the future.

1) Get a Goodyear Gatorback belt, much better than the one they ship with the kit
2) Consider a custom tune, as the Superchips which came with my kit is far inferior
3) Randy nailed it on painting the intercooler, only the outside frame though, as you don't want to prohibit air flow
Some things for your next round of mods:
1) wider rims/wider tires, you will shread 245s in about a month
2) get a cam, you'll gain 30+?/RWHP
3) consider the 2.6" pulley, look up threads regarding grinding the snout
4) meth kit, will run you about $300-$400, may not get you any gains, but great for added protection
5) 90mm adaptor and TB, about $400, I will let everyone know in the near future about my gains from this mod
6) plastic surgery, you can't be wearing that ear-to-ear grin for the rest of your life
Good luck, you will love this mod, and join in on all future SC vs. H/C fights. |

I'm gonna stick with the stock Maggie tune for now. I'm pretty sure I'll get about 100hp, and that should be good for a while. I'll start looking into pullies and TB. I'll get the tune then.
Going for a baseline dyno run Tuesday. i know I'd hate myself if I didn't know what i started with.
And yes, I've been smiling since last week |

Maggie just arrived at the office! Everything looks to be here, I'm taking inventory right now.
I'll get started tonight by doing the wiper mod.
EDIT: Inventory check complete. Everything is here, except that they packed an air intake tube for the LS2 instead of LS6. I spoke to Mitch in customer service and they're shipping one out that will be here before Friday.

I can't work on it Thursday, so I planned on starting the tear-down Tuesday, to make up for lost time. But I was afraid something might be missing.
Figure wed/fri/sat = 15 hours, and I can use some of Sunday morning if I need to. Guess I can do the stuff that's easy to put back. Yeah, 15-20 hours should be enough. I'm expecting under 15,,,,but prepairing for the worste.
So what's the difference between the two intakes?
Oh yeah, I'm HATING you right now!!!

I don't know if the actual size of the tube is different - are the LS2 and LS6 TBs the same outer diameter? If they are then this would fit and I'd just have to plug that extra connection tube, but I'd rather just have the correct one. Quote:

The superchips tuner says that it's very important that your currently have the STOCK computer program in it before you use the handheld. I don't care about losing my old tune since I won't need it, but will this handheld not work unless I get the STOCK program flashed back by the dealer? | | Cadillac Discussion Tools | | |
