Some pictures should get posted up tonight. I will un rap 1 from the bubble wrap and take pictures, however, I am new on this site, and do not believe i can post them. Cadillac Jack AKA Chris will have to post them. Also, as far as install directions goes, I believe one of these was sold locally, so I will take pictures of a step by step install and and have Chris post the up, and or email them out. I am not much of an artist, so the pictures are the best way. |

Where are the 3/8" and 1/2" spacers for the cradle bushings? Also, are you sending a plate to weld to the subframe over the weld nuts? I would be willing to bet a years salary that the weld nuts will tear out of the body without the spacers and the plates. |

The wife was just trying to capture the shiny things. The weld plates are not powder-coated, or shiny as they need to be raw material to weld on, then painted or what have you. I am unaware of any spacers that would be needed. These will bolt on directly. One of the nice things about Molly vs Mild Steel is the ability to flex a little with an excellent memory. All of these were built on a jig, and should serve very well. Quote:

I have a feeling that those cradle bushing spacers were one of the main components to stopping the wheel-hop since other versions of these spacers are sold by 2 companies and installed as a TSB from GM to stop wheel-hop. |

The soft cradle bushings allow the cradle to move and bang against the body. Also, the whole idea of the anti-wheelhop system is to remove the flex of the rear suspension setup. I don't think you make a very good selling point by stating your system does not have the cradle bushing spacers and also allows for more flex than the mild steel one. I was going to purchase one, but it seems that the proper amount of research into what the system actually does and why it does it was not done, it's just a copy of most of someone elses design. I'll make my own and send a little money to the originator. Ted, I'll make you one also. Quote:

The flex is a beautiful thing, taking the stress off of the welds. Due to my own ignorance, and medium term memory shortage, I completely forgot about the spacers. The kit we installed on Chris' car was done quite some time ago. Please forgive me. I however upon further research came across this http://www.cadillacfaq.com/faq/doclib.html (half way down the page)
refreshing a tired memory, and explaining the bushings or spacers. Part of this is also a terminology misunderstanding. These pieces will be included in the kits. I now need to make them. This should not take long at all. Please stand by for further review of some of the other members here, and you will see that this is a very high quality piece, that functions very well. I admittedly have little exposure to this automobile as I do not own one. I have had the opportunity to Mod, and demod Chris', and that is my exposure. I think you will be comfortable with the quality of the workmanship, as well as the commitment to get things right. This is not a money making venture, (the originator I am sure will aree) as much as a service to the owners of this ride. These kits are not cheap to build, both monetarily, and time wise. We have invested (out of pocket) quite a bit of money to get these things as completed as they are so far, and even more time and effort. A very little time, and a couple of reviews will tell. Please do not hesitate to point out anything else that needs attention. Quote:

I'm sure everyone will agree with me here. I'm not bashing you what so ever as I commend you guys trying to come to a wheel hop "fix". But in those videos of csp3000 dumping the clutch at 4k or whatever, is that your guy's kit, or Doug's? The title of one of the videos says Kars III kit. I'm confused. Please help.
