The kit will work with the Specter Bushings.

What about just the BMR Anti Wheel Hop Bushings only? W/O the cross bar?

I had no wheel hop. I had 500 RWHP and 470 RWTQ and I drove my care very hard and again had no wheel hop. Check the vid in the begining.

Re: Traction Kit Group Buy info "Upgraded KARS Stage III Kit"

Does it affect ride quality?? And I seen that it doesn't wheel hop at a tire smoking 4200 rpm clutch drop, but what about at a launch for a drag race?? Say around 2500 rpm or so. Sorry for all the questions and thanks in advance for the answers. I am highly interested in it if it does what I need it to do. Thanks again.

Re: Traction Kit Group Buy info "Upgraded KARS Stage III Kit"

Personally, I know of no series of tests that anyone's performed with a KARS III install on a V using a variety of tires, with various wear conditions, on a variety of road surfaces, at a variety of temperatures, all with different moisture levels on the road to see what effect on wheelhop the kit has. These data just don't exist.

The point is, I guess, that the kit is not a panacea or a cure all, just a decent crutch for most situations.

I'm not meaning this to sound rude, but if the data doesn't exist, on what basis did you come to your conclusion with?

Just playing devils advocate here.

What's that round piece stuck in between the diff and that bracket of your kit?

Re: Traction Kit Group Buy info "Upgraded KARS Stage III Kit"

When I threw the stuff on the car for pictures, I was too lazy to take the top 2 bolts out of the pinion to bolt the support up. I stuck the washers in the back to space the pinion support out to about the correct distance to put the plate at the angle it will be at when installed for real.

Ride quality was not effected with the kit. Also to answer your second question I draged my car all the time at Moroso Motorsports Park here in Florida and launched at many different RPM's ranging from 2200 to the insane 4900 with a stock rear end "mind you I only did the 4900 one once" and had the same results with the kit. No Hop. I was running the stock tire and wheel setup with the kit in the begining and then switched and again same results.

Then you can count me in. It won't be this month, this month is Corsa month, but next month is KARS month. I like taking my mods slow to keep it exciting. If you do it all at once, your jones'n so bad for more. Oh, and the money thing.
