The UPS recites were scanned and emailed to everyone who bought a kit. Also not that I need to explain anything to you but I feel I must to what I like to call a troll who wants to “stir the pot” as you so cleverly put on the end of your post. Each of the 14 "x 14" x 49" boxes cost $19.29 and the labor cost $4.25 which totals $23.54 using my AAA discount. Then add shipping which varied depending on how far but the average was 115.00. Everything is document and sent to all of the people who bought a kit.

Miami to LA, 50lb package with the size that you gave is $62.88. Either you're getting ripped off or your ripping someone else off. It's good to be the troll I guess because I get great rates on shipping. |

It's good to be the troll I guess because I get great rates on shipping. | Like he said, the receipts were scanned and sent to us with a description of the shipping charges. So he is not ripping us off. If he got ripped off from the shipping company then why are you blaming him??? It isn't his fault that someone screwed him over. You aren't even involved in the order so why do you care? Get a few posts under your belt and some time in the forums learning about the people here and the cars before you "open your mouth and insert your foot" again. All of the people here are great people with a lot of love for these cars. Someone takes time out of their day to help out the community by providing us a kit so we can actually launch with some comfort above 1500 RPMs (and doesnt really make any money doing it) and you bash them?????? That's just ignorance. Many thanks to Chris and Maddie for providing something great to the V community. I'm just sorry that everyone else won't get to have one of these kits. I can't wait to get mine in and install it.
On another note. Someone asked where the tracking number was on the reciept. It isnt. It should be emailed to you sometime today I would assume.

We were all pretty upset to here about the shipping cost going up pretty high, but the proof that was givin to us made me realize that mistakes do happen and can be forgotten. I never wanted there to be a big fued over us purchasing this kit... but there was. I hope that you realize that guys dont really know how to act in this kind of situation. We only know that we get angry when things don't go our way and we are all tightwads. Long story short for what has been said or might be said we still appreciate the time and effort that was put into this to help our community out. Madison I hope this helps you feel a little bit better and that soon we can all put this behind us. |

I understand that Chris is busy, but you have to admit: Him not telling Madison how different the shipping charges from the first time around @ $30 now jumped to $130 was pretty lame on his part.
However: I am now over the initial "sticker shock" and want to make sure that I THANK YOU Chris and Madison for reproducing/making/packing/selling these kits. I know it was a major PITA for you, and I DO appreciate it. I know it was done to help people, and I'm sure Doug went thru the same thing the first time around.
This is a great forum, and there are great people on here. I commend you for trying to help us out with these Kits.
I got my tracking number, and am happy as you are that it's on it's way.
THANK YOU |
