Besides hood clearance there will be other issues, but they got it to market before STS and Kenne Bell. |

***Where does the TB get moved to? Yea definitely going to be a lot of issues getting that to work. Lack of boost potential isn't what limits maggies right? We just cant handle too much psi's right? Cool find either way. Someone do-weeeet! |

I like that their kit mounts the pulley on the front and relocates the TB to the rear of the blower- eliminates one extra belt as well as all those pesky problems with the jackshaft.
It would probably fit under a Spectre or EC hood, but I say someone with balls needs to buy it with the 10 rib belt kit and just cut a hole in the hood. Paint some Orange flames on the front of the car and go American Graffiti style. |

If Whipple made a turn key kit it would be the better buy. Unfortunately they don't. So we are left with the Maggie which does perform as advertised. If your building a stout motor with custom fab work the more efficient twin screw would be the way to go. But if you are going through all the trouble you may as well go turbo. I would have to stick with the Maggie. |

That means it includes NOTHING.
You’d need injectors a custom tune, brackets, pretty much everything but the blower.
Ah yea... That'll be a project... got another car to drive for say a year?
Not a BAD idea just a LOT of work there, I'd rather run a Procharger GTO kit instead.
Just my $.02 |

If I decide to do this all the labor is covered by them and they pay for half the cost of the parts. I was told that they want to do three stages of the kit and mine would be stage 2 with 800rwhp.
I just dont know if I am that brave or stupid to scrap my warranty right when I get my car. |

I wonder WHO brought this up before...
Anyways you will run into heat issues...I have a friend here with the ZR1 SC and his car is rarely below 200F runnin around town with a 160 stat and extra fan as well... |

Anyways you will be perfectly fine with the cooling system just run methanol injection and it will be Ice cold. It also pretects the motor by keeping it cool. Maybe you can tell your friend with the supercharger to buy a CO2 kit for the intercooler. It sprays on the front of it. |

Your car is going to be real deal bad ass stuff... it's guaranteed that GM made the bottom end in the new V with good internals 800HP should be no problem the next question will be how much power will the new auto trans put up with?
I remember when the 2003 Cobra came out guys were ditching the stock Eaton blowers strapping on big single turbo setups and making 700-800HP to the tire no problem. The 09 with will probably yawn at 800HP
AWESOME!!!!
Looking forward to some #'s when they become available. |
