I plan on a custom tune. One of the best LSx tuners around is near Ashland, Ky so I am planning on getting him to do it.
BTW, what is a fair price for an install? I figure $40 an hour for 15-18 hours for someone freelancing it and not in a formal shop?

The big question is how much beer?

The big question is how much beer? | Im getting these guys to do it. I talked to the installer (18 years with this company and ASE cert) on the phone as he looked at the manual on the Maggie website and he said no problem, $650. http://www.automotionky.com/
I would do this myself but my buddy with the most know how on the topic just moved and his garage is still boxed up, so I think $650 is pretty reasonable and he sounds pretty confident that he will have it done on the 2nd day no problem. |

But I was working outside, in the dark and I had toput everything away each night. Yeah, you'll have it in two days. |

And $650 is a great price.
Is he tuning if for you too?
Do you have a list of everything you're going to need in addition to what csp3000 gives you? I'm trying to think of the things that can't be re-used...I guess you'll need a whole bunch of wire crimps, zip ties, harmonic balancer pins, maybe a couple of clamps? That's probably it. Not too bad. |

Not worth it.
One guy here bought a used one and the intercooler got thrashed in shipping if I remember correctly.
It's the little stuff that will be annoying.

They want $450+ to do the dyno tune so Im probably gonna take the Maggie tune to get it home then take it to a LSX guru a couple hours away the next day. |

Before Maggie or before dyno tune numbers? |

Are you buying it from Magnuson? |

The air tube isn't quite long enough to let my K&N sit where it should. |
