So my powder coater called me today and low and behold it was done already. Here is the final product. He did a pretty good job of matching the color of the car I though. I know the pictures aren't great but here is the final project.

Anything to report on performance? Feel any gains?

I haven't had a chance to get to the Dyno. I am waiting for a Dyno day in town. As soon as there is one I will let you know the results.

What are you using as your air filter, just the stock filter?

Intake looks nice. Maybe it's time for you to check/change fluids though.

    Wow, Clearence is tight !!

Any noticeable improvement with this mod?

It's similar to the StealthV intake. How much power did his intake add (to a non-maggie)?

One more quick question: How much should someone expect to pay to have the tube powdercoated?

    Re: Homemade Intake Installed

Here's mine.....A bit different as a 4" elbow and very short 4" connector were used (to allow for the later installation of a 4" MAF housing to accommodate the LS7 MAF stalk) and then reduced to 3.5" near the radiator/fan mount.

This setup clears the P/S pulley by about .25 " and the radiator/fan mount by about .06-.08".
