Hey PIMP - Who did yours and did they remove the emblems to do it??? |

Applied the carbon look and shot a few coats of clear. Almost a year now and no issues. I do wipe it down every time I wash the car.

The bike was for some sporting goods hunting supply place back east. Cost is about $325 or so plus shipping. Much cheaper that the real carbon fiber kit from Cadillac.
Whatever floats your boat. |

+ 1 for real carbon, if you like carbon.
I guess I don't get the "I wanna look like I have carbon, but I don't."
Put lace on before you paint and it will look like you have panties on your engine too, but you won't.
Guys that ride bikes install this type of cosmetic faux carbon mod all the time and I just don't get it. To each they're own. Maybe I'm the only one that feels this way. I do like the painted engine covers. And I guess anything other than stock is better. I don't intend on starting anything, just bored.
Try to do it yourself if you want it. The good thing about paint is that if you screw it up you can have it redone. |
