No dragstrip or autocross here. Just a DD I drive hard year round.
Still have wheel hop city even after installing the Kars III. |
Where did you get a delrin front diff mount bushing? Would a urathane bushing be better? That is a shame about wheelhop with the KARS III. |

I don't have any problems with my '06 diff, and it doesn't make a peep after changing to RedLine 75w90.....the 1st diff was a different story though.

Well, 9 months and 10k more miles, a couple of track days, and still no rear differential problems.
Hope to see many of you at V-day II.

Not on this subject but page 1 of 3 on the engineering analysis closing report states the cts-v population as model year 2004 2432 units model year2005 4048 units and model year 2006 only 1162 units for us market volume these #'s differ slightly under faq for 2004 then 13% over for 2005 and way under faq estimate for 2006. which do you think is most accurate? if the report is 2006's should be pretty rare. |

I use AMSOil and the GM friction modifier with no issues so far *knocks on wood*

Seems to me anything with a better durometer, such as urethane, would dampen the vibes. I believe a urethane version is commercially available. Just happen to have a chunk of Delrin handy when the need arose. | | Cadillac Discussion Tools | | |
