Not a chance. Custom had to do a last minute hole-tap to allow us to plug a redundant hole. Here are some shots taken right before paint that show great comparison. I promise to call you when it's ready to install. SOON.
BUTHERE'S A NEWSFLASH... I AM DELIGHTED TO SAY THAT THE NEW DIFF WAS WIEGHED BEFORE PAINT...................... AND ONLY WEIGHS A MERE 42 LBS. !!!!!!!!

Re: This block of steel is about to become the first ever CTS-V Billet Diff housing!!

I spoke to nutzabout_v today and he's just picked up the rear diff. It's been painted. Can't wait for the results!

Someone sticky this b/c I'm tired of having to dig back a couple pages to find it.

Talking Re: This block of steel is about to become the first ever CTS-V Billet Diff housing!!

So far, so Good!! I would assume this would require clear plastic panel in floor of trunk to showoff the "jewelry" underneath, without necessity of crawling underneath!!

Actually we were thinking of relocating the mooroof to the trunk floor. It would make the car stronger, plus, GM already took our "cheesy plastic porthole" idea and applied it to the new ZR1 hood.

Would be kind of cool though. I'm sure George Barris would like it.

And here I thought I was the only one who thought that porthole was .

Re: This block of steel is about to become the first ever CTS-V Billet Diff housing!!

<<<<<I am looking forward to this Saturday.

Time to get a little dirty and have some *fun* in the V with the shiny new red rear end.

This makes me feel special, here I am a newbie in here and I will get one of the FIRST RIDES in the Special V.

Chuck

PS----Nutz, that might be a good name to call your Caddy "SPECIAL V"
