Just got back from the Detroit Auto Show. The new V appears to have a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT diff from ours and appears to be cast iron (as figured by some well-informed members here). The staff would not let me on the turntable platform to look closer, and apparently I am one of many who asked to look under. Here is a shot of the rear (as close as I could get) that shows a LARGE REAR center support, (not 2 "ears" like ours).
And, the wheels are to 5 lug too.
