This info was in another thread, but I decided to start a new one to narrow the topic down.

I'm really waiting on the diff. bushings!

Luke, keep us up-to-date as to when this stuff will be out!

-Seems like the motor mount are already out!

Re: UUC Differential Bushing / Trans Mount / Motor Mount Thread

I'd like to see how UUC bushings work before I get the BMR kit.

Re: UUC Differential Bushing / Trans Mount / Motor Mount Thread

I spoke with UUC today about this project. they seem pretty confident that the engine mounts and the front diff bushing will be ready by January (2008) at the latest. the trans mount is still being looked at but they seem fairly confident they can get it ready by then too.

Re: UUC Differential Bushing / Trans Mount / Motor Mount Thread

Are the rear diff bushings in the works, or they don't think that's needed?

have you seen any real issues with the trans mounts?

Re: UUC Differential Bushing / Trans Mount / Motor Mount Thread

I don't see needing the trans mount unless you're pushing some big numbers. The front diff bushing is for the annoying clunking noise that comes from the rearend!

Thanks Luke for the update!!

Re: UUC Differential Bushing / Trans Mount / Motor Mount Thread

is it going to transmit the noise like the bmr pinion support?

If it transmits noise I would think it would be minimal, if all you are replacing is the POS rubber bushing with the poly bushing the only thing that would happen is the poly bushing would twist less and that would reduce the driveline clunk

All the BRB's (big rubber bushings) will eventually need replacing on this car. My tranny is definately looser now at 60k miles. While it's not a problem now, I would like to get it swapped out at the same time as the engine mounts, to prevent any issues. I'd prefer to miss out on the fun of a money shift at the track. No rev limiter is gonna save you from going kabooom, if you mis-shift from 2nd-3rd, and end up in 1st on accident. 8K rpms = KABLAAM = $$$$. Pay now or pay later

They will last longer with a 240HP CTS engine, as will rear tires.
