Trukk is in line to be the first to get them.
I plan on doing some posting when they go in.
He was coming in on Monday but rescheduled for Wednesday when they didn't show.

And ideas how much it would cost to install the diff bushing.

I'd have to look up the time but it might be $200-$300 for us to put one in.
The diff doesn't have to come out with the tool we have but you have to remove the right axle and lower the diff down for access. |

In other words: Without that $350 tool, us lil' guys will probably need to take the entire diff out?
I would think hammering on that bushing while the diff isn't supported might be a recipe for disaster. I would be if I broke the case while trying to hammer the bushing out of there.
Wait a sec......drop your car off to me for half the day, and I'll do it for $200!!! lol

We gotta pay for it somehow
Seriously though, it takes a while to get in there and if you aren't familiar with the surroundings it is easy to break something along the way. |

That's because UUC is taking their sweetass time making it, and it's not done. |

| | Cadillac Owners Member Cadillac(s): Cadillac CTS 05' 3.6L MANUAL | | | | | Re: UUC Differential Bushing / Trans Mount / Motor Mount Thread i have a 3.6L 6 speed manual w/ modifications to exhaust intake and tuned also w/an IPOD interface(this part is obviously joking). I have that horrible knocking sound and feeling in the floor comming from the rear end. My mechanical lifted the car up and found the differential bushing to be completely worn out. The car knocks in 1st gear and 2nd gear. i was told that using the bushing designed for the "V" will work on my car. does anyone have input on this. And no my car is not 240hp, stock its 255 BTW!! who knows what i am pushing now with these mods. either way this issue sucks. help please. I have looked everywhere for this bushing and cannot find. is there an aftermarket replacement part. do i need to use it in conjuntion with the bmr brace?? anyone think i am crazy!! anyone wanna trade for a "V"? | | Cadillac Discussion Tools | | |
