Anyone had this happen with their KOOKS headers?

Video is up- feel my pain with the vicious rattle I used to have with the Corsa mufflers!



The video doesn't capture how much Bass the Magnaflows have- it sounds really good. I got two compliments today from co-workers who asked me "Hey- did you do something else to your car? Sounds a lot better."

That sounds almost exactly like my Kooks/Full Magnaflow setup! I wonder how much the resonator really does?

i liiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiike it, hopefully my muffler comes in soon, i'll be pissed if the right one still does it and then have to wait for corsa to send out the right muffler also....

Kinda surprised, too. I guess the tone and character of any particular exhaust is mainly imparted by the mufflers. Does basically sound like the Magnaflows, now.

HOORAY FOR NO RATTLE!

While I like the new sound sans rattle. I would miss the Corsa Bark too much. I've got to get my cans swapped out.

I already fixed it, but thanks for noticing.

The "before" video was from a few months ago.

Just bugs me that for all those who've done switched to LEDs, that right one always goes belly up. Bothersome, it is.

It was a strobe light for a few days before it totally pooped. The funny part was my neighbor (the Cop) was following me to golf one morning and pointed it out, otherwise I'd never have known.

I think your angle of filming picked up the sound better than my "straight behind the car" approach. Mine sounds basically identical to that in person- very nice.

Thanks Tony. I have had this exhaust for a while now and I still love it as much as the first day I started the car with it. I'm sure you will feel the same about yours.

i got my new left can from corsa, put it on... i can say that the sound from the new can is crisp, however.... there is still rattle, not as much, maybe the other can needs to be replaced also?????? i took VID, but my laptop is a real piece and my dv ripper corrupted, can't transfer it from my camcorder to my laptop.... i'll try to figure something out and post it asap... depressed mine isn't fixed... i'll be on the phone with Corsa tomorrow
