Well, Me and a fellow forum member went at it tonight (this morning) (CVP somethin something {can't remember forum name right now [long island]}) either way....I was in the right lane all three races, I've got a magnaflow cat-back and I replaced the squeeeeeze tube with some 4" steel tubing....CVP somethin something has kooks headers(1 3/4) and high flow cats, B&B cat-back and a K&N intake...oh and not that it matters but I have a TPIS short shifter, LED lights on the interior and chrome rims.....he has a B&M shifter ......well I was in the right lane all three races...first race was from a 10-15mph roll...other two were from a digg (where did that term come from anyways????) ok so, on to the vids

disclaimer: the only thing harmed during the makin of this video was a forum members ego...because I seriously thought I was gonna get raped

and to clarify, he is tuned...but he is on a very 'safe' tune for the headers...the dyno was down today...so no dyno tune.....in other words, expect more videos next caturday night of a dyno tuned V vs. a basically sotck V

Ok just so everyone knows i am not a sore loser Justin beat me fair and square BUT i have to let some facts be told. My rear tires have no tread left at all they are pretty much bald. Also the safe tune that i have didn't really help either. I wanted to do a run from a 40 role but we did not have the room or the time as then at least i would have had some traction. Also a little before we hit the end i was reeling him back and with enough room i would have passed him. New tires and a dyno tune this sat and there will be new videos and we will see who wins. But again congrats Justin on a good win But there will be a rematch......

good races guys. I have a question for all the very experience members. Does have the intake, headers and highflow cats help or hurt you in South Florida with it being extremely humid?

I'll let you know next weekend when we go at it again, If I had my camcorder you could see a little better with nightvision and such.

Its pretty interesting and im sure i'll get some serious flame thrown my way for saying it but the headers and exhaust really don't make much of a differece at all on our engines. I've run my 04 v against my friends 05 GTO a number of times and I still out MPH him in the 1/4 every time. He's running the 6.0L, SLP headers, dual 3" exhaust, Lingenfelter CAI, predator tune in a lighter car and still runs 108 to my 109.4 in a lighter car.

All I have is a predator tune and a K&N drop in filter and a couple little tweaks to my airbox.

you can drive...he cant???? notice how you keep the front end of your car "up" through the sifts alot better than he does. In one of the races you kept the front end up extremely well. All of csps shifts...hes letting the front dip realy hard....ie cant drive to well......Not meaning to lay it on you csp!!!!

Yea it was not my best showing at all But again i have to give it up to my friend Justin. But remember my tires are bald. I have no tread left at all in the rears. I was spining hard from first to 3rd but after that i was reeling him back. Anyway I promise a much better showing this Sat with night vision.

Hey - I will be in the WPB, Stuart area this weekend visiting family. No V, me and the family are flying in from ATL. However, nothing like observing some good street racing.

Any hints on time and place?

Looked like a fun night, by the way there is no loser when both drivers own Vs. We need to plan a Rental Night at Moroso, and load the roster with nothing but Vs (I may bring my C6). It should run about $150/car, figure 20 cars, run from 6:00 P.M. to 10:00 P.M., one lane only-no head-to-head runs, 10 runs each vehicle is doable, helmets and long pants required, confirm your AAA/Auto Club is current as you may need it. I will remind everyone of such in early October.
