Re: Just installed Volant intake, cannot believe the huge power gains I got!

I have a very slightly used Voltant CAi for a V with a MagnaCharger.
Please PM me with your offer...
P.S. I think I threw it away, but if the price is right, I can go look for it.

I'm glad someone here figured out out. I know the Volant is crap; I was just being facetious.

Glad to hear it- I was about to send the idiot police over to your house to repo your car .

I'm a fan of subtle humor and all, but that one was a little tough to spot.

Harder yet when the only measurable "MODification" he makes is to his original statement........and that wasn't nearly as hard to detect. Besides, paying a $100 for say 4-5 rwhp and getting a nice cosmetic upgrade over the stock intake isn't so bad really. Stick to your guns dude....you did good

Re: Just installed Volant intake, cannot believe the huge power gains I got!

Does anyone have a before and after dyno of any of these intakes? (K&N, volant, LG, etc..) I havent seen any, but people saying they get no power...is that max?...certain parts of the power curve?...what? I can see these intakes getting certain power gains at different areas of the power curve which will make your car feel faster depending how you drive it....but I cant see getting alot of power at top end unless you have the rest of the engine breathing better. Just my .02$

Maybe I should of proof read prior to submitting....oh well. The point is still there kinda.
Should be:
For people saying they get power...is that max?...on certain parts of the power curve?
I can see these intakes creating power at certain RPM ranges which "could" make your car "feel" faster depending on how its driven...but I cant see getting alot of power at the top end unless you have the rest of the engine breathing better(heads, exhaust, etc..). Just my .02$
