True os False.. 2004 Transmission's Output Shaft w/Maggie

Once again,

I am thinking of getting a maggie.. But now i have been hearing from several sources that the 2004 V's M12 transmissions have had output shaft reliability problems. Is this something i should even have to worry about if i add a maggie? Is this even true? Have any 2004 maggie owners around here ever had a output shaft failure.

I don't think your sources come from this forum.

My 05 (which is a late 04) has no problem with the driveline.

The guys that are telling you that just don't want you to be better then what they got.

I have an '04 with over 20,000 miles on the Maggie with no problems.

I have an '05, which I believe is near-identical to the '04 in terms of output shafts, and I haven't had a single issue related to that. I've thrown a belt though.

I have an 04, maggie has been on for almost 2 weeks now....I hope theres nothing wrong with it.

23,000 maggie miles (18,000+ with 2.6" pulley) on the same trans and diff - no issues.
