I'd never experienced the wheel hop that you guys speak of here in the forum until today when I tried to sneak the V out for a trip to the dealer and a fill up on V-Power Gas.
It wasn't spose to rain until 1pm, but it was cloudy. I figured I could make it to the dealer to get my Key fobs reprogrammed, pick up some gas and get her back into the garage before it rained.
Made it to the dealer, told them my hurry, they got me in an out in a jiffy (while there I asked about UUC installation and was told it would take 3.5 hrs, I politely denied them, I'll be going to Lawrence for that!). No rain. I do a POI search for Shell Gas Stations and it tells me there is one 1.3 miles from the dealership. When I make it to what was spose to be the destination there was nothing but a school there. So I search for another one which takes me 3 miles further away.
Finish my fill up and get back on the road and it starts to rain @ 11:36. Damn weather girl is a Liar!

So I get into hurry mode so that the V will see as little rain as possible.
I'm first at the stop light that's on a hill and when It turns green, I try to haul ass so I can get on the freeway and into the garage. To my amazement, I'm not going anywhere cause my rear is doing the bunny hop
Checking my rear to make sure that the pick up behind me realized that I'm not going anywhere and doesn't rear end me

I finally get some grip and take off. Then I switch to 2nd and

.
Had I felt it before, I probably wouldn't have been so freaked. After my trip to Houston, I now have a little over 9k on the car. So I'm assuming I need to rotate the Goodyear RSA. I'd notice the thread about the Dunlop Sport Maxx I may be getting a set.
