CTS-Vs with an automatic?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I didn't think that CTS-Vs came with an automatic in '04.

I'm looking at one right now though and the owner claims that he purchased it with such automatic??!!??

I'm going to try and get the VIN soon, but this is driving me nuts, for I didn't think there was room for an auto trans to fit in the CTS-V.

Thoughts?

i know people have swapped autos into cobras and vipers with T56's in them but i've never seen one in a Z06 or a V

they certainly didnt come from the factory that way

No CTS-V has ever come with an automatic from the factory, no matter what year.

I had heard some rumors that it was possible to put an auto in the 04/05's due to the LS6's size/location, but that there is no room on a 06+ car. I dont really care since I dont drive auto, just a rumor i read somewhere. As we all know, the internet is full of facts.
