Wheel well tub removal

Remove this ad
So its 20 something degrees outside and I am trying to pull out that plastic tub in my wheel well (making way for a spare rim I plan to purchase soon). Damn plastic tub is held to the bottom of the wheel well and won't come out. Seems like its held down by that central screw rod (let the jokes begin ) which holds the carpet piece down.

Any of you guys that have full size spares care to elaborate on wheel well tub removal.... before I just rip the plastic tub out clean out of the car?

Thanks,

T

Re: Wheel well tub removal

Feeling "little-yellow-bus special" with this simple removal...

Thanks for the tip...found it
http://www.cadillacfaq.com/faq/answers/spare/index.html

it says the plastic tub is heavy? Doesn't seem heavy, just held down by that screw....dammit.

Re: Wheel well tub removal

Well I think I may have the maggie up for bids this summer. I'm working with Peter at APS to figure out a way to use the new FEB 07 GTO APS TT kit on the CTS-V but that is all still
