Looks like a post 2005 GTO, I like it. Almost any well styled sports car has a similar look. Think Ferrari F430, Audi RS4, BMW M3,last generation BMW M5... I have always wanted to change my back end to make it more distinctive, I think I'll do that. I personally think that all of those cars look far 'sportier' than the V because of visual cues such as the matted black exhaust insert. Just my $.02.

I think it makes the car look higher off the ground. Some people paint their black side skirts to give the car a lower appearance, this is just the opposite.

Also, I'm no artist, but if I was to do it, I would only black out from the curved section down (about 2/3's up the pipe tip),
I wouldnt black out any panel that is flat. Does that make any sense? I think it will look weird if it ends color abruptly, but not surface.

I think the great thing about the CTS (V-6's too) is the aggressive yet simple styling. Add anything to it, and you take away from the subtlety of the car.

I agree with roadracerx72 and a majority of the comments. Stickers will only cheapen the V. The photoshop'd pic does & will most likely make it look higher. One way it may look good...is if it were a whole seperate lower piece altogether like what appears in the sts pic. Is that the D3? Anyhow, my suggestion is to leave the already beefy looking bumper as is.

I don't think that just painting or a vinyl graphic would work right. If someone would make a replacement rear valance in flat black or carbon fiber, it might be hot.
