No 34 psi Displayed

Remove this ad
Sometime in the spring of '05, someone posted that there was no "34" psi reading being displayed. A few of us '04/'05 people checked, and everyone agreed: it jumped from 33 to 35 as the tires warmed up and skipped 34.

Just happened to wonder if this glitch got corrected with any of you '06/'07 people.

Re: No 34 psi Displayed

Hmmm. I never noticed. Now though its hard to get the psi up that high. My car averages 31/32 psi when warm with 28/29 cold.

Here's that old thread started by slow35: http://www.cadillacforums.com/forums...-lbs-tire.html

Hey 50, when was your V built? Mine was built in Nov '05 and still to this day jumps right over 34. (I run my tires on the high side. )

My Build Date was October 27, 2004.

I do have newer tire pressure sensors, I bought a set of chromed stockers and they came with 4 new sensors. Mine does display 34, I wonder if there were a bad batch of sensors? And these sensors are accurate also.

Oops! I mean Nov '04.

Say, could that mean that the sensor itself is where the "glitch" is? I would have figured the display, but stranger things ... yadda yadda ...
