Picked up the V at the dealer yesterday with my new dif.

Ah-h-h, nice and quiet now. So, I had a bunch of running around to do, and while stopped in a parking lot at one point, I see about an 8" dia puddle under my dif.

I pull forward, jump out, drag my finger thru it. Yup, it's dif fluid. But, dif is still quiet.
Had more to do and places to go, I couldn't stop, so later on at another stop, I go to check the rear of the car, and it's soaking wet all over the entire back of the car (bumper, trunk lid, etc) with dif fluid. Cutting to the chase here, I took the car in this morning, they gave me a loaner, replaced a seal in the dif, hand washed the car over and under, and I got it back again in 2-1/2 hours. Yeah, it cost me a little time, but all is well now.
CVP33 is right about dealers:
http://www.cadillacforums.com/forums...fe-span-3.html There are good ones and not-so-good ones; you have to find one. And, as much as I like my dealer, Forest Gump was right, too, when he said: "(Sh)it happens." And, it even happens to good dealers.
I bet even Audi has some not-so-good dealers.
