Re: what tire pressure for rt615's?

I'm running 30 cold which gets me to 36 hot (mine are nitrogen filled so a little less pressure flux cold to hot).

Re: what tire pressure for rt615's?

They have a max psi of 51, yes? I'd go a little higher, as at ~42 psi, the stupid alarm goes off...and it happens over and over...

You'll never heat the nitrogen up that far to change the pressure 6psi. The nitrogen will stay constant especially on a passenger car no matter how hard you run it, it won't change.

Re: what tire pressure for rt615's?

You'd be good to keep pressures in the low 30s cold. Try 32/32 and work from there. Take some white shoe polish and mark a few spots on the shoulder of the tire. Then go heat them up some and then hit some twisties. You don't want rollover, but you also want to use all the tread as well.
I recently bought a set of the RT615s for my Maggied Z06, sized 275/315, and am very happy with them. I notice that they like to be in the mid-30s, perhaps a few pounds higher if autocrossing.

Enjoy them,
ace
