Faulty CAGS?

Remove this ad
I recently installed the CAGS I purchased used, now my CE light is on!?. I thought that was the entire purpose of using the eliminators, so it wouldn't come on. Is there simply a resistor that I can check? Anyone know what the resistance should be?

Thanks for any info!

Re: Faulty CAGS?

The resistance should be in the 2 to 3 k ohm range depending on who made it.

First thing that pops into my head is the connector fully seated?

Is it installed in the correct harness?

Is it a Stealth !CAGS?

Re: Faulty CAGS?

The CAGS I have uses the OEM connectors with silicon/shrinkwrap to close the open ends....is this a StealthCAGS?? I'm quite sure I got them in there all the way, but I'll double check.

Is there another harness that uses the same plug which goes to the end of the tranny??? I saw about 3 others but they had different connectors.
