I have noticed one interesting thing about this forum, and its that everyone has tricked out their v with some hot add ons... All I have done to my 04 black raven v is tint the windows, and had the corsa tossed on at the dealer when I bought it... So I consider my V stock. Who else has a stock V here, because I feel like i am in the minority?
I do love my v, just hate the rear diff...
Also is your V a daily driver, or a weekend toy? mine is a daily driver as long as there is no ice on the roads.. Since I got my V I never drive my Escalade anymore... I love the V... 40K miles in 2 years...
Mine is still stock at the moment, except for a K&N air filter and I added a full size spare tire. But soon it will have a Corsa exhaust and a performance tune (when parts arrive), Huper Optik 40 Tint today. LS1 Tune on the way, and a Valentine Radar Detector. More than likely "Clear Bra" coming and new tires in the near future as the rains come and the F1s wear down.
P.S. Oh yeah I had them add the dual pinstriping with the Cadi logo.
My V only has a Magnaflow and LPE intake.......and Vette fuel rail covers, but I don't really consider those mods. Still in the box I have a BMR strut brace and Hotchkis sway bars. They will go on in the spring along with the Ground Control coil-over kit and a Stealth tune. I'd still like to do a UUC shifter, but I haven't found a shop I trust enough to do the install. So, back to your initial question, yes, currently my V is close to stock, just like yours.
stock xecpt k/n filter and cool momo shift knob. hotchkis sways are on group order. i figure power and brakes are great, only mod needed is suspension and everyone seems to love hotchkis bars, they r only 300 bux and i can install easily. will save $ for tires which should last 6-8k miles. i love so3s but rnt cheap. i drive daily and drive it aggressively/ permagrin. oh yeah changed fog lites to piaa so they match the hids, i drive all the time w fogs for safety reasons . the more im seen the less chance i figure so idiot will crash/kill me/fam. the car is great as is....
My 06 is still stock except for aftermarket tint. This black car looked funny without some kind of tint. Drive it daily ecept for rain days then i drive the Ranger.
Stock...but not for long. Only have 800 miles. I really want to get the suspension upgraded first. May have to spend $4000.00 for a Penske/Mallett deal. No forced induction in the plans. Plenty of naturally aspirated grunt for me.
Mine is still stock, but only 720 miles on it. Going to put a sport spoiler on next week and then do exhaust. Cant decide between Corsa or Magnaflow. Any suggestions?
Mine is bone stock. 24,000. I do have a cags sitting in the original plastic on my dresser. A Kars stage 3 on the way (thanks Doug), set of stock rims (xtra for chroming) and hotchkis bars I need to order(gp) still. All you 700, 800 mile guys just wait. "You're Doomed," heavy has said. I bought these things with in a month of popping my cherry.
There is a guy that belongs to the Corvette Club I do that bought a new '04 CTS-v for his wife. The car is 100% stock. What a waste, and he agrees with me.

K & N replacement filter, B&B exhaust, Avon tires, Daily Driver and love it except for all the issues (mainly very whiny clunky rear). I'd day that is pretty stock.
Mine is still stock, except for cosmetic stuff like the ultimate pedals and the coil covers, ohh and the removal of the rear badges.
Of course the shifter and CAGS removal (programatically) are on the todo list. I'm just enjoying having a daily driver performance sedan without any real shortcomings :hide: (Did I say that outloud?... Ok there is the shifter, but I'm learing to work with it rather than against it), and primarily that I don't have to work on.

Well....mine is my daily driver (Black on Black) so no mods for me. Besides I'm too fearful of the dealer balking at any repairs on my extended warranty.
All I have done is window tint, 3M "clear bra", and a CAGS eliminator, that's all.
Although I would really like a Corsa exhaust - with a GM Part number the dealer would be hard pressed to deny a claim.

The install is fairly easy if you have a lift. The transmission needs to be droped slightly for clearance and the only other hurtle is un-bolting a few exhaust bolts. Any shop with a half way decent wrench can handle it. I paid $200.00 for the install four weeks after I bought my car. The difference in shift quality is night and day.
PS the dealer quoted my $495 to do the install.:mad2: I paid a $50.00 premimum to a local shop because I wanted my car back after lunch the same day.
