probably a dumb question, but what do i know - what's wrong with placing s/steel washers to desired thickness instead of using heavier custom-made spacers? spacers would just add dead weight to all four corners.
i am not planning on doing this mod and was just perusing this post; but curious minds wanna know...

Do you need spacers for an upgrade to CTS-V Brembo calipers and 20" Rims. What type of clearance should I have from the caliper to the rim? Is a 1/4" good? Or less?

Youll need alot more then spacers...you should ask in the cTS forum...
