Rear End Part Number "Sticky"

15793756 is the part number listed for the 2006 CTS-V. If this number has been verified and is the new replacement, shouldn't we make this a "Sticky". I had to go back six pages to get the part number.

Nice to know! Mine has developed the 45mph whine and will soon be in for an oil leak, I'll ask my guy to check the part number out with the repair guys.

15793756 is the new number for the new diff which replaces 10368780 the previous diff...

I am waiting for our designated rearend qualification tester, CVP33, to get one of these new diffs and try it out for a bit.....if he is successful then we are good to go.....

Do we know if this 2006 rear end is cast iron like Stealth V alluded to months ago? Does it have a higher torque rating than the original Gertrag? Will it bolt in place with no mods on the '04 and '05 models?

All I can do is laugh. However, I believe the first confirmed new generation diff' is also in the hands of a very worthy tester, CTSV05. I'm looking forward to his 5,000, 10,000 and hopefully 15,000 mile updates.
