Also, Moore... i will update you on the other info we discusssed and the custom size fittings if i do a 9 inch changeover.. if i go that far.. i might go with 4.11 richmonds.. maybe..

The problem with the 'Vette diff, is it bolts directly to the trans.

we have cf shaft that has been shorted to fit.. one end has a titanium flANGE the other end come off a wrecked vette c5 the mount right on the tranny... so we will try that first.. if all fails then plan b..

nah we will try a whole 9inch ford..just mig all the fittings in the same place, try as close as we can to match it.. now this is thee used V not mine.. if it works.. then we will drop it, put it on mine, put mine on the use one, and sale her to get money back.. cheap.. nothing will be tore up.. it will just go back to stock.

i am glad to see you working on this. We would love to help and have already done 1, but the car is now in UAE, and will never hear back from them. Anyways it can be done, but all the fab time does take work and time. if you want it done right expect to wait for it. if you need any help

Okay.....just got back from DTS in Warren, Michigan. Talked with one of their techs for about 30 minutes. Other than "cryogenics", there's not much he can recommend for us at this time. Big problem is that no matter who comes up with a "fix" or an improvement, how many ACTUAL "takers" will there be? In other words, since there are so few "V's" out there, a company may never recover the R and D involved with such a project. In any event, I told him, I still have my old diff and would he like to take it apart and analyze it? He said absolutely, so I'm taking it back to him today. I'll post the results of his teardown when complete. Sorry I don't have better news. He did say that some of the Corvette guys are doing that cryogenic stuff and having pretty good luck making the diffs last longer....Stay tuned for more

The Moore/ Drift-Caddy car had/has a cryo-treated rear, and the BMR pinion brace...and that's it from what I recall. We all saw what that thing could do without the rear detonating.

Ask Damian about it...
