    Nav Issue

The Nav on my 07 just all of a sudden quit. I hardly ever use it but tried the other day and it said no disc present. I ejected the disc and put it back in and it says disc initializing then it just spits it out. Anyone have any advice?

The DVD is probably fine and my guess is the drive is bad. It's the universe's way of affirming that the OEM nav system is terrible and should be pulled in favor of aftermarket options.

Try playing a regular DVD. Then go back and try the nav disc.

Brian that's exactly what I did and it seems to be working now. I made sure it worked when I bought it a year ago but have never really tried to use it other than just screwing around with it.
