Extra Warrenty on Drive Train-CTS-V (differential)

How are you guys getting the extra warrenty on the Differential???
Who do I need to call??? What is the number???

I have stumbled on a few post-threads that some guys are getting a extra lenght of warrenty on the diff. but have seen no numbers to call, or can't find them when I need too.

I dont think caddy is doing this anymore... You needed to have at least 2 diffs when I called a few months ago...

mine was offered from caddy customer service. I said hell ya i want it. customer service is who you want to talk to...good till 2011 or something like that or 100,000 miles..rear and driveling....

Wow, this is craziness. 2nd rearend, 5th, 6th. I've been a car nut for 30 years and have never seen or heard of anything like this before.

Mine was offered yesterday after inner and outer half shaft failures. Mine is a total drive train warranty through 2011 and 86,000 miles. Quite frankly I'm not worried from the engine to the drive shaft, after that I'm scared shitless. The LS6 is bullet proof unless you get positively mod' stupid. The 6 speed as well, except for the shifter.

There is a time when I would fight for the lemon law, somewhere around rear dif # 3 being replaced.

I had the same problems with the Diff and they are still offering out the warrenty as long as the car is still under warrenty. They gave me 3 years....

I just had diff and the other usual crap replaced. Got worried because all these guys had failing diffs...and then bought a 3 yr extended major guard to make sure I didnt have to fix it out of pocket. Of course I have now read about people with diffs lasting 50, 60 , 70K miles (I have 33K on mine)... am I a dumbass, especially considering that I dont beat on the car and have no plans for major power adders until I make the last payment?....

oh well, piece of mind right...hahahahahahahaha
