Clutch Master Cylinder - Does this article apply to us ?

Trying to troubleshoot my high rpm grind into 4th. New trans and new Monster stage 2 clutch.

Does this apply to our clutch line ?

Just to verify I bled the clutch, about a half can of the super dot 4 fluid.

came out clean. Afterwards I went out, got into it in 3rd went to 4th fine. Drove for a few minutes and tried again and 4 = grinding.

Might just buy a new master just to rule that out being everything else is new. Any specific brand anyone prefers. There are a few on rockauto, or should I just get the ACDelco one ?

There is some heat shield on the clutch master to slave line just above the cat, but I might get another piece and cover the entire line.

    Thanks again.
