As far as I know, the suggested approach is to adjust them out until the pads just start to drag and then back them off a bit.

Well the reason I ask is because the dealer said the rotors aftermarket and wouldn't adjust for the parking brake pads. My guess is they didn't take them apart and try, but I'm just guessing.

That sounds like BS to me. What kind of aftermarket rotors did you buy? If they were marketed as a CTS-V rotor I'd expect that they would accommodate the parking brake.

Tons of people on the forum run aftermarket rotors (Myself included) and nobody else has reported an issue.

Don't know, it came with them slotted & drilled. I've only had the car 3 weeks.

I finnaly got to this, one of the adjusters were tightened down and I loosened it and adjusted them both out, e-brake works fine now.
