I'm in a position where I'm listing my 2005 V and I'm not too familiar with the V resale world, especially with modifications. What would you all pay for a similar vehicle to mine? Asking too much? I don't want to ask too much, nor give it away... any suggestions would help. Thanks

I think for the amount of stuff you have done to it, your price is very reasonable.

That's cool. We'll have to get together. Are you able to go to Indy V meet this Saturday? Either way, always looking for other Vs.

I think your price is fair but there will be a limited amount of potential buyers out there looking for a car as modified as yours. It sure is a hell of a lot of car for the money any way you look at it.

When I was shopping for V-1, I was willing to pay around 15-16k for a clean stock V1 with less than 80k miles on the car. Sure enough you have invested tons of money and for the right person it is worth every penny you are asking. But many buyers, including myself, prefer stock, or at least lightly modded cars.

Well, some of you from Indy meet know I cancelled last minute due to "no oil pressure". It's not the sending unit, and if I'm gonna pay for labor to change oil pump, I'm gonna pay once to have it out. I'm just gonna keep and stroker 383 it. Then I can turn up boost and get way more torque/some hp. I wouldn't be comfortable not knowing what damage was caused by the 45 secs it idled with no pressure. It's got 91,xxx on it, and I've already got the rear done, might as well finish.

Re: Looking for "honest IMO's" please...

In my experience your mods are worth 50% of what you paid for them plus book value of the car. I think this car will be for sale for quite some time considering you can find '09 and '10 V2's for under just under $30k.
