Northern Ohio IRL get together....

...is in the works. I met with Jim Browning, Jr this afternoon on business and I must say, he is a tremendous guy. He offered the use of his facility (Corsa Performance) for a V get-together. I went there to meet one of his employees who is a friend of my college roommate and Jim was kind enough not only to come out and introduce himself to me, as did his father, Jim, Sr. but Jim, Jr, gave me a ride in the Corsa CTS-V and the Corsa C6 Vette that were set up with their exhausts....I was blown away by the sound of the Corsa product ( I have one thats waiting to be installed with Random Tech cats later this month) it sounded great and I swear I could feel the added HP SOTP. Just a quick thanks to Jim Jr. for taking time away from his busy day to spend 45 minutes with me discussing not only their product but his interest in a get together...which leads me back to here. I would like to gauge interest in a get together at Corsa on a Sat afternoon when the weather breaks. Jim mentioned that we could do a tour of the factory and check out how things get made and I have access to a mobile pig roaster and could do a pig on a spit or something to that affect. Corsa is conveniently located near Hopkins airport and off many major interstates (I-71, I-480, Ohio Tpk) and there are plenty of accomodations near by for the overnight crowd (for late night partying). Anyway, if you are interested, lets get a hand count and see what the input is for a "meeting of the V's" Id love to hear suggestions as to what youd like to do/see/eat. Let me know and well get a list and start planning.

Well, I'm in......providing we aren't at a meet on the chosen day.

I'm just about 2 hrs south of Cleveland, so this sounds doable. Sounds like fun!!! Maybe I can talk a couple of other V guys into coming too.

Pittsburgh isn't too far away so if you want to expand, I'm sure one or two of us from west PA will join in.

I traded email with Jim Browning last fall and was going to visit their shop before I bought. I'd like to get up there anyhow.

Last night I stopped by Mallett Cars and they would like to be included with our CORSA plant tour get together.
They are just a mile down the street...you can visit them after we are done here at CORSA Performance.

Sounds like theres about a dozen or so....how about Mem day wknd? Not enough to roast a pig, but surely enough to grill some dogs/brats/burgers. Keep posting your thoughts.
