I am not sure what you mean with your comment, I was just dissapointed that we won't be able to make it up. Corsa used my car for there test mule, and yes I did receive a free system and also became friends with Jim Jr. | There's a local radio team that put together a comedy skit during football season with the recurring line "But what the hells a Brown?"
Cleveland = mistake on the lake
The rivalry goes back to when Pittsburgh and Cleveland were founded. There isn't much different between the two towns when you come right down to it- except the terrain and the fact that the Browns will always stink

(no, we don't have major league baseball in the 'burgh, just triple A in a great ball yard) |

OK....."V" owners......Let's decide what time we are getting this awesome get together started on the 4th of June and when we can tour the Corsa facilities. I have got several Cadallic employees that want to make the trip to Cleveland and some of our complaints could be addressed to them. You owners that are five or six hours away from Cleveland might need a place to stay overnight. We should try and set these things up ahead of time. Let's get this thread back on track and I need some feedback from you "V" owners!! Opinions....Ideas....etc.!!!!! |

hd750 & Harley - let's meet (spelled correctly- Florian is a guy's name, right?) for breakfast in Cranberry then take the pike to the mistake on the lake. (what the hell is a brown? )
Tony | Tony,
I tried to IM HD750 to work on arranging the meeting, but he is not or can not accept IM's. Hope he reads this. Once the start time of the event is set then we can pick a meeting time.
I am not sure what the problem was... I got all the Cleveland jokes. Of course listening to WDVE helped. "It's a burgh thing." Given that it is baseball season, maybe we should keep our heads down. I think Cleveland actually has a team, unlike Pittsburgh.

Ill keep the channels of communication open with Jim@Corsa and he will be working with Mallett and coordinating that. As for the CTS-VR...I have that channel open as well. Could be a nice get together. I plan on having brats/burgers and sodas/brew available (I need to clear the latter with Jim..dont know how he feels about alcohol on premesis) Otherwise all is in order.

If you get the green light from Jim on the beer, I would be glad to help and bring some cold ones from the Burgh! Our baseball team may suck, but the beer is still first rate. |

I hate to search for old threads

BTW - I just came back from VA today. You poor SOB's that have to drive near Reston & Tyson must have the patience of saints. I would do something violent if I had to drive in that traffic every day. One hour to go two exits on Dulles toll road, then 495 north to reach 270. And there weren't any accidents to blame it on. |

I spoke with Jim Browning, Jr. and we have a tentative agenda set so here goes...12N meet @ Corsa performance for meet/greet and plant tour. Corsa has no cooking facility so it will be off to Tony K's (located conveniently between Corsa and Mallett) for a lunch around 1p. After lunch we'll hit Mallett for a tour of their facility. I have yet to lock up the CTS-VR (although it is about 85% right now) if I can lock it up, it will be on static display at Corsa for viewing. No alcohol allowed at either the Mallett or Corsa facilities (Berea cops can be a bit tough at times, being a college town) So thats it in a nutshell...after the IRL, Clevelands nightlife is pretty happening (W 6th St area) with plenty of eateries/microbreweries/points of interest to visit. So chime in again so we can get a rough idea of a headcount (Jims wife works at Tony K's and, weather permitting, will reserve a nice outside table setup for us).
Take it easy and see you all soon
