    I don't think that was thw point he was making, but you are correct. They are pretty gutless. Those 4.6 motors were fairly pathetic. But they do sound pretty damn sweet.

    The 5.0 is interesting because its a drivers race between a new 5.0 and a slightly modded V1. Beating an older generation Mustang that is down 30% on hp just isn't as interesting.

    Ha I know, figured I'd walk him without making a sound (still stock exhaust). I was still in my daily commute mode I actually shifted 4th-6th haha.

    It was the 4.6, wasn't a story worth starting a new thread for so figured I'd post in here. I doubt I would've pulled a 5.0 in 4th.

    I just finished cleaning the car and decided to take it on a shakedown cruise. Ran across a new red 5.0 I followed him for a few lights then we were approaching a freeway entrancr and I heard him starting to rev so I got prepared. Took off the ac thru it in competition mode and boom green light and I got out the whole with minimal spin and a wicked reaction time. I heard him spinning a bit. He also had exhaust. I grabbed second hard and I spun for a good two seconds. Then third with a good chirp as I hit the entrance to the freeway he was behind me trying to keep up. I then hit the curve and caught .91 g coming out and he didn't even try anymore. Lol nice is what I said......
