AC issues- any good shops near Boston?

So having issues with my AC, it blows cold but lately when I first put it on it squeals like crazy, usually goes away after a second but today it didn't. After car was warm I tried it again and same, I ended up keeping it off for fear of shredding the belt.

I'm assuming its the compressor, I don't have the time to do this myself and it would need to be recharged by a shop anyways. Anyone know a good mechanic near Boston that can do this or am I stuck with going to the dealer in Portsmouth?

    Thanks!

Have you checked the condition of the belt? It could just need to be snugged up or replaced if dry... It is a bit if a PITA to do, but it'll save you money by checking

Yeah I wish that was it, the compressor is making some noise at idle now even when it's off.

Nobody knows a good shop in greater boston that can do this for me?

Never got a call back from the dealer in Portsmouth, should I call the one in RI?

No one on here can recommend a shop or a dealer near boston to work on this? I thought we had some local members . . .

Is it under warranty? If a dealer, try Olsen Cadillac in Woburn. If not, try Leary automotive on Bedford, MA...

Leary is not cheap but he's not expensive, either. And he just about always gets it right the first time...
