    Erratic oil temp

    Driving today I noticed my oil temp was rising again, shut off a/c and it immediately went down, A/c on it went back up. Did the washer about 3wks ago and it was fine,

    Appreciate any/all replies

    Go back to the washer.

    Clean the surface under the strut with a wire brush.

    Spray contact cleaner on the threads and surface.

    Wire brush the contact surface of the bolt, and both sides of the cable terminal.

    Spray the bolt threads with contact cleaner.

    Reassemble: bolt, star washer, cable terminal to surface.

    Clean the engine ground (near the starter) the same way.
